Deal qualification
Know what will make your client decide.
What the client didn’t say matters as much as what they did. Cuevr sorts your notes, shows what’s missing and prepares the questions for the next meeting: the proposal starts there.

What is deal qualification software?
Definition
Deal qualification software helps a sales rep gather what they know about an opportunity before writing the proposal: the client’s situation, their needs, the expected project and how the decision will be made. In Cuevr, qualification is the first step of the deal file: it grows from your meeting notes, flags what’s missing and serves as the basis for the proposal outline.
From your notes to a qualified deal.
Meeting notes don’t tell you what’s missing. Cuevr sorts them, measures them and prepares what comes next.
Your meeting notes, sorted by section
Meeting notes, email, brief: Cuevr sorts everything into the four qualification sections, each piece of information with its source. It adds what’s new and flags what contradicts; what’s already written is never rewritten, and you make the call. Nothing gets lost between two meetings.

Qualification in detailWhat’s missing, and the questions to get it
Prepare the next meeting around what’s missing, not what you already know. Cuevr gives a score per section, lists the missing information and turns it into the questions of the meeting script. The score measures how fully the file is filled in; it doesn’t predict whether the deal will sign.

A proposal built on the qualification
Does your proposal really reflect what the client told you? Cuevr AI draws on the qualification to suggest an outline tied to the client’s stakes, then writes with the proof from your knowledge base. If information is missing, it asks you instead of presenting the passage as ready, and your answer goes into the qualification.

Supporting documents, filed or analyzed
Not every document reads the same way: you attach one, you analyze another to enrich the qualification. On consultation rules or a requirements specification, Cuevr can recognize a tender, when your organization has turned this mode on, and draw a response framework from it: a fifth, unscored section that guides the outline.

Frequently asked questions
How do you qualify a prospect before writing a proposal?
You need to know what will make the client decide: their situation, their needs, the expected project and how the decision will be made. Cuevr turns that into the four sections of deal qualification: client context, identified needs, project and expectations, decision process. Your notes are sorted into them, Cuevr flags what’s missing, and the proposal starts there.
Can you turn a meeting summary into a qualification?
Yes. You paste your notes or the transcript, dictate them, or import the summary as a file (TXT, MD, DOCX, PDF or PPTX, up to 10 MB). Cuevr extracts the information and suggests it section by section, with its source; you integrate what’s new and review the qualification before the analysis.
Does Cuevr make up the missing information?
No. What the client didn’t say, Cuevr doesn’t make up: it flags it as missing and prepares, in the meeting script, the questions to get it. When writing too, Cuevr AI asks you for the information instead of presenting the passage as ready.
Does the qualification score predict whether the deal will sign?
No. It measures how fully the file is filled in, section by section; it doesn’t predict whether the deal will sign and shouldn’t be confused with the proposal’s grade. Your organization can set a target score: if the score is low, Cuevr warns you before writing, and you decide whether to move on to the proposal or complete the qualification.
Will new notes overwrite what I’ve already written?
No. Cuevr adds to your sections what the source brings that’s new and flags what it contradicts; what’s already written is never rewritten. Faced with a contradiction, you keep the information that matters, or the existing one, with the link to the source passage to decide.
Does Cuevr qualify the deal without me?
No. Cuevr sorts and analyzes what you give it; discovery remains your job. You review the suggested information, settle contradictions and answer the recommendations, and the qualification stays editable by hand before the analysis.
Does Cuevr’s qualification follow a method like BANT or MEDDIC?
Four sections: client context, identified needs, project and expectations, decision process. The points these methods have you check find their place there: budget and timeline in Project and expectations, stakeholders, criteria and decision steps in Decision process. The analysis then flags what’s missing in each section.
Can Cuevr qualify a tender?
Yes, when your organization has turned on tender mode. Once the consultation rules or specification are loaded into the qualification, Cuevr extracts the response framework: a fifth section that isn’t scored and that guides the outline of the response. Cuevr can make mistakes when reading the file: review the framework and correct it if needed.
Start from the meeting, not a blank page.
Qualify a real deal during the trial: your notes, what’s missing, the questions to ask, then the proposal.

Prepare the next meeting
