Cuevr or Proposify: which one should you choose for your sales proposals?

Proposify is mature proposal software, strong on quoting: catalog, options the buyer chooses, discount approval. Cuevr takes the deal from qualification to signature and writes each proposal for its client. Here is where each one is best, with sources.

The verdict

Choose based on how you sell.

Choose Proposify if…

You price from a catalog and control your discounts

  • Your proposals rely on quotes with options: the buyer ticks items, adjusts quantities, and the total recalculates.
  • You keep a catalog of products and services, with prices and billing frequency.
  • A manager has to approve discounts or large amounts before sending (Grow plan).
  • You want HubSpot connected both ways through a native connector, with no scenario to build.

Less suited if

You want to qualify the deal before writing, and have the proposal written from your content; you answer RFPs and tenders.

Choose Cuevr if…

You want every proposal to get signed

  • Every proposal is written for one client and has to convince several decision makers.
  • You want to qualify the deal, then have Cuevr AI write from the qualification, your knowledge base and specialized agents designed on the best sales methods.
  • You want to know before sending whether the proposal convinces, and fix it.
  • You also answer RFPs and tenders, public and private, in the same tool.

Less suited if

You need a catalog, options the buyer chooses or discount approval before sending; you need a native CRM connector (Cuevr connects through its API and webhooks) or comments in the proposal.

If you remember one thing

Before sending, Proposify has a manager approve prices and discounts; Cuevr scores the sales argument and suggests the fixes.

In short

Definition

Quick answer

Proposify is the right choice for a team that sells from a catalog, with quotes that have options and discounts to approve. Cuevr is the right choice to get proposals written for each client signed: it qualifies the deal, writes with Cuevr AI, analyzes the proposal before sending, tracks every reader and gets it signed; it also answers RFPs and tenders, within the buyer’s framework. The two can work side by side: Cuevr for the sales argument, Proposify for catalog quotes.

What Proposify does really well

Proposify has existed since 2013 and is dedicated to sales proposals [1]. Since May 2025, new accounts land on Proposify 3, an entirely new version of the editor; according to its documentation, some Proposify 3 features are still presented as beta (article updated on October 6, 2026) [2]. For a team that sells priced offers, line by line, it is a solid tool:

Card payment at signing, known from the previous version, is not in Proposify 3: the Stripe integration is announced there for 2027 [2] [10].

  • Interactive quotes

The buyer ticks options or changes a quantity, and subtotals, taxes, discounts and total recalculate at once; recurring amounts appear separately, by billing frequency [3].

  • A price catalog

Products and services with SKU, price and billing frequency, sorted into folders and inserted into the pricing table [4].

  • Conditional approvals

By role, above a maximum discount or total, with a comment at each step (Grow plan) [5].

  • A follow-up alert

Proposify warns the seller when a document has not been viewed after the number of days they chose; reading is measured per recipient and per section [6] [7].

  • HubSpot both ways

Deal data and line items in the proposal, activity and status sent back to the deal [8].

  • Inline comments

, internal or visible to the client [9].

Three moments where they differ

The difference is not a feature list: it is the moment of the sale each tool takes care of.

  1. Before sending: know what the client wants

Proposify starts from the template. When you sign up, it creates a starter template in your colors, from your website; variables and CRM fields then fill in the client’s name, the deal and its price lines [11] [8]. It documents no deal qualification. Cuevr starts from the deal. The qualification structures the context, needs, project and decision process, from your notes, a transcript or dictation; Cuevr points out what is missing and prepares the questions and the script for the next meeting. You write about a deal you understand. Sales qualification →

    Proposify
Variables and CRM fields (HubSpot, Salesforce); no qualification
    Cuevr
4-section framework, import of notes, transcripts and dictation, score, gaps, meeting script
  2. When writing: a proposal written for this client

In Proposify, the seller starts from the template, removes the sections they do not need and imports sections, snippets and products from their library [11]. A writing menu drafts and rewrites from a prompt, and Proposify generates a first template; its MCP server lets Claude produce a first draft [11] [12]. Cuevr AI writes from three sources: the deal qualification, your knowledge base and specialized agents designed on the best sales methods. It suggests an outline linked to the client’s stakes, writes the sections one by one in an editor with your branding, then Cuevr analyzes the proposal and suggests its fixes in the text. 3. After sending: know who reads, and when to follow up

Here, both tools are strong. By default Proposify asks the reader for their email, shows the timeline of opens and the time per section, and alerts the seller when a document has not been viewed [13] [7] [6]. Cuevr publishes the proposal as a web page with your branding, in a frozen version: each invited reader appears by name, with their reading section by section and their heat; the dashboard ranks the day’s signals, from Never opened to Strong return. At signing, Cuevr verifies the signer’s email with a six-digit code and links the evidence file to the signed version; Proposify locks the signed document and keeps an audit trail, with no signer verification described in its help center [14] [15]. On our grid

The eleven criteria of our comparison, scored 0, 1, 3 or 5 on the same levels for everyone. Proposify does better than Cuevr on “Price and collect payment in the proposal” and “The deal connected to your CRM”; they are tied on “Build the proposal as a team” and “Know who reads and when to follow up”; Cuevr does better on the other seven criteria.

How we score: the grid measures what a tool brings a sales team to sign more deals with its proposals, not its compliance or its price. Eleven criteria follow the course of a sale; each one is scored 0, 1, 3 or 5 from observable facts, written down before scoring, the same for Proposify and for Cuevr.

Facts about Proposify checked on October 13, 2026. No score in this head-to-head relies on a paid add-on (no asterisk).

Before you switch tools

Can Cuevr and Proposify be used together?

Yes. Cuevr takes the proposal that has to convince, from qualification to signature. Proposify can keep catalog quotes and discounts to approve. Choose a single signing tool per proposal: Cuevr lets you replace its signature with a button to your own process.

Does Cuevr have discounts approved before sending, like Proposify?

No. Cuevr has no proposal approval workflow: it scores the proposal on three axes (personalization, persuasion, professionalism), with no discount approval workflow. Templates, on the other hand, go through an approval step before being shared with the team. If your discounts must be approved, keep that control in your process or in your CRM.

Does Cuevr have e-signature?

Yes, included and unlimited: a simple electronic signature (SES), legally binding. The signer verifies their email with a six-digit code, and each acceptance creates an evidence file linked to the signed version. It is neither advanced nor qualified. In the European Union, it cannot be denied legal effect as evidence solely because it is electronic (eIDAS Regulation, Article 25); in the United States, the ESIGN Act also recognizes it.

What happens to my Proposify templates?

The copy that works (offer, method, case studies) goes into Cuevr’s knowledge base, which Cuevr AI uses to write each proposal. Your price lines carry over into the quote block, which calculates discount, VAT and total.

Where is my data hosted?

Cuevr is hosted in France. Data is kept in the European Union. Proposify states that it stores its customers’ data in Northern Virginia, in the United States.

How much does Cuevr cost?

€49 excl. VAT per user per month billed annually, €69 excl. VAT billed monthly, one plan, every feature, from one seat. Trial: 14 days, no credit card (5 proposals created, 1 sent).
