Your brand belongs to your organization. You set it once and it dresses your proposals everywhere: in the editor, the preview, your client’s page, the PDF export and the signed file. The Brand step of sign-up has already set the logo, the colors and the cover (chapter 1).
Open the Brand & identity studio
- Open Brand & identity with an owner or admin role. Other members see the studio but cannot edit it.
- The Visual identity tab brings together the settings and a preview; the Information tab holds the logo, the company, the social media and the legal footer.
- Use the Simple mode for the essentials, or Advanced to set each variant in detail.
- The preview shows a sample proposal. Its Lite, Tinted, Brand and Night tabs display the pages in each variant; See at full size opens the sheet at 100%. Click an element of the preview to open the setting that colors it.
The ? button in the header opens the Brand and variants guide.

Set your colors
- Set the Primary and the Secondary. Hover over a color to see what it colors in your proposals. Click it to choose it in Your colors, on the picking surface or by its HEX code.
- Suggest a secondary proposes a secondary that matches your primary.
- If your two colors are too close, the studio warns you: the variants will be barely differentiated.
- Other colors keeps the rest of your brand guidelines (Add a color to the swatch book). These colors are offered in every color picker and in the image search.
- For the small markers (“Recommended” badge, highlighted offer, last milestone of a timeline…), you can choose a Tertiary: open one of your other colors and click Use for the small markers.
- In Advanced mode, Edits to check flags a hand-entered color that makes a text or a marker less legible.
Set the variants
Your proposal sections alternate four variants, always drawn from your colors: Lite, Tinted, Brand and Night. Open a variant’s card in Variants to set it; the preview shows it right away.
- Ground (Lite variant): Pure white or Warm white, a white barely tinted with your primary.
- Intensity (Brand variant): Exact color or Deepened. For a warm or yellow color, only the exact color is offered, and the studio explains why.
- Buttons: Primary, Secondary or Tertiary for the buttons, links and icons of the variant.
In Advanced mode, each card also lets you rename the variant, change its treatment, derive it from another color of your brand guidelines (Derive from) and adjust its colors one by one. Back to the automatic value undoes one adjustment; Reset the variant undoes them all.

Choose the typography and the style
- Typography: choose a Font pairing among Clean, Editorial, Classic, Geometric, Warm and Bold. Customize opens the free choice of fonts for Headings and Body: some featured fonts, then a search in Google Fonts. A decorative font is flagged under its selector.
- Set the Heading weight (Light, Normal, Bold), the Text size (Compact, Standard, Generous) and the Heading contrast (Soft, Standard, Strong).
- Style: Roundness (Sharp, Softened, Round), Spacing (Airy, Standard, Dense) and Sheet width (Standard or Immersive).
- Finishes: Reveal on scroll (Yes or No), which animates the arrival of cards and offers on your client’s page; in Advanced mode, Texture (None, Halo, Gradient) for the cover and the color bands.
Set the cover and the composition
The Cover and composition section sets the starting point of your new proposals. A proposal created from a template keeps the template’s cover. Changing these settings does not modify your existing proposals.
- Cover image: Import, Replace or Remove an image (JPG, PNG or WebP).
- Layout: Vertical, Horizontal or Cover. Depending on the layout, also set Text on the photo, Text position, the image side and Crop the photo.
- Cover: the variant of the cover page. Cuevr picked the most legible one for your color; you can change it.
- Composition: the way the variants are spread across the sections, Quiet, Balanced or Assertive. Each proposal can then choose its own.

Fill in the company information
In the Information tab, fill in:
- the Logo, displayed in the header of proposals (SVG, PNG, JPG or WebP, transparent background recommended);
- the Company: Company name and Website;
- your Social medias: Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube;
- the Legal footer, displayed at the bottom of signed proposals: Address, SIRET, VAT number and Legal form.
Files: logo and cover image up to 5 MB. Images are optimized automatically.

Save and check the result
- Every setting is saved automatically: the header shows Saving… then Saved. If it fails, click Try again; your settings in progress are kept.
- Your drafts, the preview and your new proposals follow the current brand. A proposal that is already published keeps the look it had when published: republish it for it to take your new brand.
- Check the studio’s preview, then the result on a real proposal.
- When the trial or the subscription ends, the brand can no longer be edited: see chapter 13.
