Track your activity and handle alerts

The dashboard shows which deals need your attention today, their value and how your activity is performing. This chapter explains each signal, each action and each indicator.

Read My activity

Open the Dashboard. The My activity tab covers the proposals you own or collaborate on. The badge on Dashboard in the sidebar counts the deals you have not seen yet.

  • To do today groups the deals that need your attention, one deal per row, with its signal, its value when known and a main action. The counter counts deals, not the sum of all signals; a deal’s other signals expand under its row. Four deals are visible at first; use See all to view the rest. List order sorts the deals by Priority or by Value.
  • Latest significant activity reports recent events, from the most recent to the oldest. The New badge flags what happened since you last opened the dashboard; on your very first visit, no activity carries it.
  • My performance summarizes the value of your deals and your indicators over the chosen period.
  • Pick up again offers your two most recently edited proposals in preparation.

Tasks are sorted into Today, Overdue and To follow. Unread deals come first.

The full list of signals

The dashboard flags recent events and the deals that call for an action.

  • Signed: a prospect has signed. Open the signature proof, then check the deal’s outcome.
  • Signature opened: the prospect opened the signature form. Check the analytics.
  • Quote options: a reader changed the options selected in the quote; the difference in value is shown. Check the analytics.
  • Decline received: the prospect declined. Read their reason, then decide what to do next.
  • Reshared: the proposal was passed on to other people.
  • Strong comeback: a prospect who had stopped reading is reading again with intensity. This is not a purchase probability.
  • Dropped deal woke up: a deal you had closed as dropped is being read again. You can reopen it.
  • First view: the prospect opened the proposal for the first time.
  • New readers: new people opened the proposal. They are named when their email is known.
  • Repeated views: a reader keeps coming back to the proposal. Check the sections they looked at.
  • Inactive: no reading for a while. Prepare a follow-up or close the deal as dropped.
  • Never opened: the proposal has not been opened since it was published. Check the recipients.
  • To close: the deal has had no outcome for a long time. Record won, declined or dropped.
To do today: one deal per row, with its signal, its tier and its main action.

Mark as seen or remind me later

  1. Open the … menu of a proposal in the list.
  2. Choose Mark as seen to mark this deal’s signals as seen. The deal moves below the unread ones, but the task is not resolved. A new signal can bring it back among the unread.
  3. Choose Remind me later, then In 1 day, In 3 days or In 7 days, to take it out of tasks and attention points for a while. Signals are not erased: they come back when the time is up.
  4. To actually handle the deal, take the expected action: check a reading, share, record an outcome or reopen a deal.

The seen or remind-me-later state is specific to each member.

Record a deal outcome

The three outcomes are Won, Declined and Dropped. A signature and an outcome are two separate pieces of information: a contract signed elsewhere is declared won, and a signature collected in Cuevr moves the deal to won.

From the … menu, or from the Signature stage of the proposal, choose Close this deal, then enter the outcome, the Outcome date (except for Dropped, which has no date) and, if you wish, a Reason (optional), visible to you only. If the prospect declined, the reason can be prefilled and remains editable. A decline received does not close the deal automatically. Closing does not unpublish the proposal. On a dropped deal that shows activity again, use Reopen the deal after checking the new readings.

A signal’s main button leads to its proof: See the analytics for reading behavior, See the signature for a signature, Read the decline for a decline, Open sharing for an inactive or never-opened proposal. Closing decisions stay in the deal’s menu.

Track the value of deals

Each proposal has a value, as an amount excluding tax. Cuevr calculates it at each publication from the published quote, without the options that were not selected. A recurring offer with no commitment term is marked estimated over 12 months.

In the Signature stage, the Deal value card lets you Enter the value yourself. An amount you enter is not replaced by a new publication. If it differs from the published quote, the differs from the quote mention appears: choose Use the quote to go back to the quote’s amount, or Keep to keep yours. At signature, the value is frozen with the options selected by the client; you can still Correct the amount declared.

On the dashboard, each deal shows its value. Open pipeline adds up the value of the proposals sent with no outcome, Signed this month that of the deals signed or won during the current month. Amounts in different currencies stay separate.

Use the Team view

The Team tab is reserved for the owner and admins. It has four parts:

  • Team pipeline: the deals in progress by stage (Qualification, In preparation, Closing), with their age and those that are overdue, then the outcomes for the period;
  • Team performance: the value and indicators of the whole team;
  • Team attention points: the signals that call for a manager’s attention (signatures, declines, and deals that are inactive, never opened or to close), with the sales rep’s name. Use Filter by sales rep to see only one;
  • By sales rep: each member’s figures, sortable by column. Clicking a row filters the attention points on that sales rep.

Templates to approve requests are shown separately, with access to Templates. This block does not depend on the sales rep filter.

Understand the performance indicators

IndicatorHow to interpret it
Deals wonThe number of deals won over the selected period.
Deals lostThe declined and dropped deals of the period, detailed under the total.
Closing rateThe share of won deals among the deals closed over the period; read this rate together with its volume.
Median length of a won dealThe typical time between the creation of the proposal and its outcome, for won deals.
Median time to closeThe typical time between the first publication and the outcome, for won deals.
SignaturesIn the By sales rep table, the signatures collected through Cuevr over the period; a revoked signature no longer counts, and a contract signed elsewhere is not included.

The default period covers the last 30 days. You can choose Current month, Current quarter, Year to date, Last 12 months or Custom period. The same selection applies to the personal and team views, with a comparison to a previous period.

Without enough data, an indicator is missing rather than shown as zero.

Watch out for internal readings: your own openings through a public link, without being signed in to Cuevr, may be counted: check the context before drawing a conclusion.
